Butte College Cosmetology and Barbering Center

This project is a dynamic as the students and community it serves, with the bulk of the design dedicated to cosmetology education and professional services.
The facility includes state-of-the-art learning spaces for hands-on training, and a color lab for advanced hair coloring techniques. Public services are integrated into the design, featuring a manicure and pedicure class and service area, barbering and an esthetician suite offering skincare treatments. The layout promotes a seamless blend of education and real-world experience, fostering creativity and professional growth in a collaborative and welcoming environment. Adjacent to the school is a new building housing the district wide conference facility for faculty workshops and lectures in addition to a new science lab and support offices.
